Case of Alto M.P.H.S
The pinnacle of the range is the Alto MPHS, a flagship release made in tribute to the estate’s previous winemakers, whose initials make up the name.
Produced only in exceptional vintages, this exclusive blend of noble cultivars encapsulates the thread of family, tradition and quality that has run through Alto for close on a century.
Deep, rich purple in colour. Dark fruit Cabernet Sauvignon with elegant red fruit Cabernet Franc notes and well integrated wood spice dominate the nose. A powerfully elegant palate for a great vintage with a well balanced fruit, structure and acidity.
Excellent enjoyed on its own or served with dishes such as sautéed pork chops served with fennel or a wild-mushroom ragù served with pappardelle pasta and parmigiano cheese.
